A Month of Celebration
October is the month set aside to celebrate small, locally owned bead shops. Started by Kalmbach Publishing in 2013, VYLBS has been embraced by bead shops large and small across the country. This is Dancing Beads’ second year of participating. We’ve loaded the calendar for October with classes, special shopping days, demonstrations, free workshops, and a day devoted to fire!
Dancing Flames a Celebration of Flameworking
The sidewalk in front of Dancing Beads will be the hot place to be as we present Dancing Flames an outdoor celebration of lamp working and flame working. Local hot glass workers will gather to demonstrate and sell their art throughout the day.
Inside you’ll find a beautiful selection of lampworked beads made by local and national glass artists.
Join us Saturday, October 11th beginning at 11:00 am. If you love lampworked beads, enameled components, or glass blowing you’ll find all the excitement here. Mark your calendar.
First Friday Free Classes
Every Friday during the month of October Dancing Beads will be offering a FREE class! Scheduled from 1:00-3:00 these classes are a great way to meet new people, learn something new, and leave with a completed project. Each class features one project with kits to take the guess work out of shopping for your class. The kits are affordably priced and will include everything needed to complete the project. The instruction is free.
Pre-registration is required. Please call the shop Monday-Saturday 11:00-6:00 to register.
